Gale Consulting has been awarded the Ministry of Defence SaBRE Certificate in national recognition of its support and encouragement of the Volunteer Reserve Forces.

 

The presentation to Director Nick Gale took place on board HMS Iron Duke while it was paying a visit to Hull as part of the Royal Navy’s Trafalgar 200 celebrations.

 

With over 120 employers from various Yorkshire and Humberside based enterprises attending the event, 14 other companies also received the award. The certificate, which is signed by the Secretary of State for Defence and General Sir Michael Walker the Chief of the Defence Staff, has currently been awarded to some 13,500 companies and organisations nationwide including over 500 from the Yorkshire Region.

 

The Ship's Company also provided an "open ship" with demonstrations and stances to show employers aspects of life in the Royal Navy and the typical training and skills that can be offered to reservists.
