We also expect to be paid for our services in accordance with the agreements made with the organisations for which we work.
Our People
Nick Gale
Nick graduated from Huddersfield University with a degree in Accounting & Finance. He joined the team in 1997. Nick now manages a great number of technical projects where he provides system support and analysis to a range of clients.
"It's very satisfying when all the pieces fit together" Nick says, "People are what can make or break a project. We are very fortunate in that our customers have invited us to work with them. This means they are 100% behind us and this is a key factor in enabling us to achieve swift and effective implementation of projects."
Lynne Gale
After starting her professional career in the motor industry, Lynne soon found herself working on technological project boards from the key user role. She then retrained with the Contol Data Institute in programming and software design, building the core fundementals of a deep desire to simplify office activity. Lynne worked for the likes of BMW, BMI, and the NHS before starting Gale Consulting in 1994.
"Technology should be about making peoples lives simpler" Lynne claims, "get the right system and implement it correctly and you will make money!"
All organisations need someone keeping a firm hand on corporate direction and finances, that's where Roger's skills come in. Always the voice of reason and a non technical sounding board for the ideas and plans of the others, Roger keeps everyone's feet very firmly on the ground.
"If it can be explained to me and I can understand it then they can sell it" is Roger's pragmatic view of Gale Consulting's product development. "It is difficult to get the point across to people sometimes when selling an individuals skill and time. The team are happy to become an integrated member of the clients workforce and this close liaison brings many benefits."
